In this comedy, Dr. Moorcroft awakens on the 10th anniversary of his wife's death to discover that the new maid is overly talkative, the weather is turning nasty, and the only thing that could make the situation worse is the arrival of a family caught in the storm. Set in 1922 upper New York, the comedy takes a turn when the doctor realizes that the wife has a serious illness, but that he might be able to help her. In the end, the characters learn that God does work all things together for good for those that love Him. Exciting characters include Dr. Moorcroft, the fastidious housekeeper, and the verbose maid.
